Nice vintage literature! Looking forward to more pics. I was enjoying some vintage manuals at work today. We still have the paper parts catalogs for the 2 cylinder tractors up through the 50 series and still use them pretty often.

The stacks of Operators Manuals can be measured in feet (not pictured yet)I was a bit disappointed with the parts manuals, they did not include a lot of what I was expecting for tractors, mostly for implements, but the shear quantity makes up for it.

Nice find. Though, I imagine you'll spend quite a few hours sorting through it all and selling it off. That's a lot of eBay listings.

Wholly smokes...I'm sure you will do well on that. I just got an "mechanics magazine" from 1883....Smithville, New Jersey....mostly from a company named H.B. Smith....well as fate would have it I have an H.B. Smith table saw and it is listed in the Mechanics magazine...I will try to post some pics....real cool. That John Deere stuff is the mother load...but there are tons of other great machines that not JD. JH

Those I&T manuals are like an aftermarket Chilton or Haynes manual for tractors. They are still widely distributed today. Looks like there are quite a few JD books and binders. Definitely a major score^ The New Idea binder looks fascinating. I have been starting to collect some New Idea items.

Getting some of it sorted out.Apparently I didn't get a picture of the Coates 4050A tire machine he told me about after we loaded the literature. Had to make another trip for that and the NOS snow plow. New Idea

You can see a good sampling of the Deere stuff on ebay, though I have several more boxes to go through.

Nice score Dan...But WOW! lots of time just gettin it all organized.

Was this from an old dealership? if so did you (or will you) get tractor hardware too? I would love to find an old closed dealer to buy out some stock from...

Greg, this was all the "remains" from a dealership. I got the NOS parts 2 years ago. :D:D

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
