:JI'm finally moved into my new workshop :J It was a year ago I had it framed, steel panels installed & concrete poured. Here is a link to the previous post if interested:http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=141918over the last year I've been framing, wiring, insulating, drywalling, etc. And I installed a woodburner and chimney. The first 2 pics are to show where I last left off

I installed plywood on the bottom 2 ft of the walls where tractors will be kept to protect the walls.

DSCI7303.JPG

I'm using alot of pegboard for tool & parts storage. (to display stuff too big for bins/shelves/drawers)

I like it. Nice job.

Only see a couple things missing.

I see the fridge, stereo, flat screen, comfy seat by the heat.

Where's the microwave and the potty ??? }:)}:)}:)

Very nice work Greg!!! Looks like plenty of storage and easy access to any needed tools. Those metal bins with drawers would sure make for good new/used hardware storage. Much better than the plastic bags from the hardware store jammed into a cabinet like I have heresm00 I also like the assortment of signs8D

Nice, how does compare to your house? :D

You can always tell a gearhead from the road...his garage/shop is at least 3 times bigger than the house.

Nice project, no matter how big it is to start, it always ends up small.

But I would loose the woodstove with so many gas containing tractors.

Find yourself a 85-90% efficent propane furnace. Mine pulls in outside air and exhausts it thru pvc pipe.

Sealed combusiton means little worry about spilled or leaking gasoline.

Thanks guys sm01Dave when you were here it was still a mess of unfinished everything...Chris I have a thing for collecting signs. Most are from broken utility poles that are discarded and other pics.Elliott I used a custom pole bldg kit from the "Design kiosk" at Menards.Mike my house is a little less sq footage but pretty close...only "part gearhead" :D

Josh you & Dave may be the only ones that knew about that...About a fifth of my bldg. is another room I named "The Body Shop". It has a 5 person hot tub/Jacuzzi, room for our Nautilus machine and treadmill. And also a small restroom. The hot tub is in there but no drywall up yet...it comes AFTER my shop :D maybe done by next winter..?

Thanks Greg, But I work for a Gas/Electric utility and was HVAC tech so I already have a gas service ran and will be installing a new Gas Furnace. I'm keeping the woodburner mainly for emergency situations and to burn up a big supply of wood I have here (for a few years)ps...Your furnace is over 90% if it has pvc vent piping. No conventional furnaces are made between 80-90% due to the condensation of flue gases. (90% and up are called "condensing furnaces" and have drainage for the condensate) That's great to have a 90+ furnace for your shop, Very efficient sm01

My wife would call your shop an adult day care center for men. Awesome shop by the way. Looks well thought out.
