How much oil in a Briggs Model 19 Engine

This engine is in an early Garden Mark Squire (Model 725 Simplicity)I got this with 1 1/2 inch high filler pipe that screws into the top of the oil pan.Some of these early Briggs engines also have a 1 inch high filler pipe and others have a plastic cap that screws right into the top of the oil pan. A Briggs manual I have says a model 19 D holds 3 pints but has no info on the Model 19. Thanks in advance
