MDB 134 Posted March 23, 2015 There was a discussion on another board recently concerning rear work lights with the red tail light feature. I did some research and found that they were not all that uncommon on farm tractors back in the 50s and 60s. several companies produced these lights including Guide. Here is one that I have restored yet. Guide brand (Stamped on the Bucket) rear light with two position rotary switch. There is suposed to be a little plastic knob the attaches to the switch with a set screw. Work mode. Red tail light mode, sorry it does not show up well unless it is dark... Here is the back of the sealed beam light, there is a 12 volt 2 pin bulb on a bracket in the light bucket that shines through the back of the sealed beam to make the red light.sealed beam number,Wagner 4409X35watt Here are a couple of pictures of the inner workings of this light.
