Pods or Not?

I currently have two 7016 tractors sitting in the garage. A late model hydrostatic, and an early model 3 speed. I'm going to sell the three speed, when I get a couple things fixed. Anyway, what is the general feeling on the early model hoods? I kinda dig it, and am thinking of putting the early model hood on the late model tractor...If for nothing else than the light output from the new halogen bulbs. Pros/Cons?

Not sure of the Pros or Cons, but I always liked the 3400 - early 7000 series with the headlight pods and the "egg carton" grill. I still think they were the best looking of the Sovereigns.

I like the podded hoods for the much better lights, they work great to see around the snow thrower chute, and I like the looks.
