Frame comparison

Well it depends. The frame for a Hydro is different from a frame for a gear. I wanted to put the hydro transmission from my 4212 on my 5212, which is a gear. After looking at the two frames, there is different cut-outs towards the back. As long as both tractors have the same transmission, they would have the same frame. A 4000 series hydro tractor would probably have the same frame as well, although the 5000 has a plate on the front for the larger hood. I do not own a 5216, but I would think it would have the same frame as a 5212.5 hydro.

Good Luck:D

I do believe the same frame for hydro's. Only difference is the HP for engine, tho same mounting holes for both.
