insurance purposes I need to know what a new blade will cost and app. what the old blade was worth (it was in excellent shape I hardly used it )
That's why I didn't notice it was gone.........TIA Jim

Kent my Blade was of the heavy duty type ,didn't use it that much it was in like new condition .....
I got a quote from the local Sim....dealer toady and I was surprised that they still offer a Scraper blade for my old Landlord that
will fit with a little retrofit....for the price of $630.00(this is not a typo) sincerly Jim L.

Since no one else replied, I'll give you my 2 cents:

If it is the light duty snow/dirt blade a fair price would be around $75, depending on condition. Could go over $100 if in great shape, or as low as $50 if well worn and rusty....

If the heavy duty dozer blade (spring-loaded, 5 positions adjustable from seat), then right around $100 is a fair price, again depending on condition. If complete (including all linkages, paint in good shape and not very rusty, it could go as high as $150. If well worn, it could drop below $75....

This is my impression of Massachusetts prices. Value would vary based upon location. Down south, the lighter duty snow/dirt blade probably wouldn't be worth nearly as much....

You would certainly be entitled to use that price for a full replacement value. If they will let you depriciate it by "wear" you can probably claim 3/4 of that - but if by "year" you might owe them! :(
