Got all my tractors out of the sheds today for a picture. From left to right is 17GTH-L with Kohler Magnum Twin & Tiller, 7117H with Kohler KT17 & Deck, Deutz Allis 917H with Kohler Magnum Twin & Deck, 7116H repowered with Kohler Magnum Twin & Simplicity Cart, 7117H with Kohler KT17 & Tiller, 7117-Semi Auto with Kohler KT17 Series 2 & Deck. As you can see, I prefer the RBTs with the Kohler Twin Engines.

Looks like a lawn and garden dealers lot!dOd. How do you keep the mice out of all of those tractors?

Thanks for all the kind remarks. I put out a lot of mouse poison in both of my sheds. I found poison pellets this spring inside one of my spare mufflers and also inside a shop vac hose. I guess they died before they could eat all of the pellets. I think I was lucky.

Nice machines. I have had good luck using dryer sheets to keep the mice away.

Nice dOd Those (7100 series) were most likely the best designed garden tractors ever. But they did evolve from the equally impressive [for their time] FDT's

dOd

I have 3 of these all with the boxer twins.

I have found that very smelly dryer sheets work the best to keep mice away. Pack them around the engine and I stuff Stainless steel wool or chunks of scratch pads into the large openings of the engine.

And they make the shed smell nice too!

Willy, I have never owned any of the yellow tractors. I have owned a couple of 2112's however. Guess the yellow ones are not as common around here.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
