old hauler for my tractor

I have found a old trailer that looks like the one in the link. It looks like it was to haul motorcycles, flat floor- maybe 2 or 3 rail. I cannot see a brand. I've stopped and got a lead. The phone # of the owner. I'd like to be able to make a fair offer for it, but i don't know what it is. have any of you ever seen one? I was told he probably won't sell it- so any tips on how to approach with a offer.
