Axle shaft greasing

Recommended Posts

427435

I took the snow thrower off the 7790 yesterday and put on the rototiller. I went to grease the axle shaft--------------and there was no grease zerk like my other large frame tractors.

Is that some kind of change on the later large frame tractors??

The diesel uses a different axle tube and solid axle (they are longer to create a wider stance). They may not have the zerks like all the other 7100/900 series.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
