Clevis Weldment availability?

Recommended Posts

JohnFornaro

Apparently the clevis weldment, part 1657564 is no longer available. Does anybody have an alternate part which would be compatible with the 7000 series and sovereign lift kits?

Mine got loose and ran into the drive belt, causing a mess awhile destroying the belt at the same time!

Thanks. JF

To order a 'will fit' you will need to know the dimension and threading (coarse or fine, or custom) of the threaded end of the cable. You can figure this out buy purchasing a variety of threaded nuts in SAE (most likely) and METRIC, which approximate the size of the threaded end, or take the whole cable to the hardware store to test thread some nuts.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
