ka9bxg 3 Posted January 27, 2002 I never tryed H F but 6 is a blast people look at you strange while cutting grass. The Kenwood 520 takes up a lot of room.Really the Icom 706 fits fine on a simplicity wonderboy 700.Bob
ka9bxg 3 Posted January 27, 2002 I got the model 19 for my B1 running today.I reset the timming on it and just started cranking it gave a few puts and off it went. Not real strong right now but it does run.Had it running for a half hour and seems fine.I left it outside tonight and will try in the mourning to see if it will start. Thanks for all the help from everyone.Bob Also found bad spark plug Champion junk again. LanceR 1 Posted January 27, 2002 Bob, I still haven't painted my 63 B10 and the neighbors think "that old man on that old mower" is a bit touched anyway. Adding the 706 should not be a problem, but the bugcatcher should really move me to the top of their list. 73's WD5KCX PS - do you make it to Dayton?? If so, look me up in the flea market under the Texas Flag on the yellow hotstick!!
