Allis Chalmers and Simplicity Parts #'s

Recommended Posts

I am a new member and am very familiar with Allis Chalmers part numbers, but have no experience with Simplicity part numbers. Example: I am looking for a mower deck for a AC 611, which I think is part number 1690838. I would like to find out if a simplicity mower deck is compatible. I found a Simplicity 738 (model 990898) tractor with a mower deck, the deck looks similar. I found online where the 738 mower has a part number of 990884?

Can someone help with explaining how to determine commonality between Allis Chalmers and Simplicity parts. Thanks

Those are model numbers as they were more of a "wholegood" item rather than a part. The 738 and 611 were in entirely different families and the decks will not directly interchange. There is a cross reference page for attachment interchangeability on the Simple Tractors page.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
