Pulley & Sprocket Removal

Recommended Posts

These "Forks", made for auto tie rod & ball joint removal, also come in handy for loosening pulleys & sprockets from shafts. http://buy.snapon.com/catalog/OBJECTS/17200/17184.JPG

I have one I use as a "tuning fork" When struck lightly on the fork end it vibrates at almost exactly 2600 Hz ! Just another reason why everybody should have at least one in the toolbox...

Never thought of useing it on tractors, thanks Herb. I consider it a must for front end work, couple years ago I was working on my moms front end in Ne when I was visiting and couldn't find the one I gave dad years before, after fighting a tie rod end for about 20 min I went and bought a new one..MPH
