my 3112h has one that looks just like that but doesnt have the lift handle mine is cable lifted with the hydrolift on the tractor . there is a bracket on the right front side of the tractor for this . I may have a manual for it I will try to dig it out . gttalk has alot of manuals free on there site I have found manuals for almost everything I have there ( not john deere but I hate john deere anyway they think they own your tractor )there is also a wooden board at the end of the bar that angles back tword the tractor . it pushes the grass into a row and out of the way of the " foot " that rides on the ground at the bottom of the sickle bar .

nice score !! show us more pics of the landlord . mine looks similar .

The sickle looks intact but the pulleys definitely need resurfacing to smooth them down. As was stated, the side mounting pulley bracket will be needed, as is a hanging bracket for the hanging chain(that doesn't move). Be sure to grease the needle bearing in the rotating link religiously as it is a high stress part and hard to replace. It looks like the drive assmbly that goes under the tractor is not present on the second tractor. You will need the same drive pto as the mower deck would use, but use the smaller of the two hookup points. The manual for the sickle will explain most of this.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
