Hi all,

quick question after setting up my dads 48 inch sunstar mower deck up with new arbor berings, How much end play should each arbor have? I have one that sticks and is stiff. while the other two have a lot of end pay.

End play? Are you talking about vertical sliding? If that is the case they should be tight when the top nut is torqued down. If they have vertical sliding the shaft will wear out within the bearing race and have to be replaced. Loctite makes a product called bearing retaining compound to fill that void to keep the shaft from wearing out.
