I think the 3400's were built in the time frame where Allis Chalmers had to divest Simplicity and they built their own plant for the 3 & 400 tractor line to satisfy a federal anti-trust suit.

I agree with Bob.

Also the Allis built Homelites are similar mechanically except for front axle, steering, and deck (which is the same as the Allis 300/400 decks - shallow, right discharge). Hydros were Vickers.

The closest Allis to a 3416H would be a 716H. But it probably have a Sundstrand Hydro vs your Vickers, and a Kohler engine vs. your Briggs. But all body panels, BGB, Cone clutch would be the same.

      Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work.
