712H cone clutch ?

Recommended Posts

my allis 712H has got a one inch chunk broke of the edge of the clutch plate ( bowl shaped cap on the left hand side )

is this a problem ? ( is that a dumb question ? )

what other models interchange with that ?

also the bevel gear box has a dipstick . oil shows at the very tip ... there are no markings . any clues ?

I would think that can be a problem, however, I might run it until the clutch dies. Ya never know, it might go for years yet.

As far as the BGB, there should be an indent on the dipstick maybe 1/2" up from the bottom? I believe that is where you are supposed to be, but I could be wrong.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
