electric clutch

i was mowing yesterday with my sunstar when my electric clutch shut off changed out the clutch and the switch and still nothing any ideas thanks.

I would verify 12v (with a volt meter) at the E-clutch using the E-clutch ground.that way it checks the 12v feed from the switch & ground at the same time.

If you have 12v with the switch "on" then it has to be a bad clutch (assuming the electrical connector is good/clean to the clutch)...

If no voltage to the switch then start at the fuse & work toward the switch.

If I remember correctly, the SunStar safety switches are on the ground side of the electric clutch. Check both leads for +12v when the clutch is energized. If you have +12v on each lead, then the ground circuit is open. Then you have to figure out what safety is keeping the ground open, bad interlock module, or maybe a broken wire.

I think Brett fought this problem once.
