Spring around the corner???-

Boy with all this nice weather it is easy to dream that Spring is just around the corner. I'm sure Mother Nature is not done with us yet. But just the same it is nice to think ahead about getting the old iron out and tuning it up for another summer. Sigh. Well I best be gettin' out back and work on some of my winter projects before winter is over! Steve

Sure got that right Steve,had my 4041 loader ready to push some snow around but no snow. Put her back up on blocks so i can remove rear wheels to sand and paint.Find out that i dont have wrench to fit. Very deep rims they have the turf tire on them.Guess i have to get a larger socket set.Have know idea of nut size.Well you take it easy. --Ron B

Yet they say global warming is a bad thing¿? It can stay as long as it wants to! It has been super mild here in IL, I was in Florida from dec. 13-20 and we got our first snow then, heck it was 85+ down there, felt funny wearing shorts and hearing christmas music while waiting to get in the "Haunted Mansion" in the Magic Kingdom!,-BradW

Set temperature records here today -- 68 to 72 degrees, based on where you were. Amazing for January! Supposed to have rain turning to freezing rain late tonight, then snow with measurable accumulations by Thursday.... Crazy weather -- but every day now is one more when you don't have to shovel...

This winter thing isn't over yet. I saw on another site where the Farmers Almanac said we're going to get hit hard in February and March. We've only had 1 plow type storm here and our total for the winter is less than 5". Last winter we got snow starting on December 1st and it snowed every other day for a month with highs of around 15 degrees for the whole month. Then no snow to speak of the rest of the winter. I don't rule anything out until June. We're supposed to get a big one starting with rain today and then turning to snow tomorrow in Illinois. Sandy

Last week, here in Minnesota, we were enjoying daytime temps of 40 to 50 degrees, with warm south winds. Yesterday, 1/28, the high for the day was -2 degrees. Enjoy it while you can. Pat

What is a shovel??? If I cannot get to it with my B-1 and dozer blade it does not get removed. My other half did get stressed out the year I managed to get the tractor on the back porch to clean it. Roy
