Snow Thrower Adapter Kit 1686886

Recommended Posts

Simplicity stopped manufacturing these kits back in 2010, and I'd like to use an older thrower that needs this kit.

Do these ever pop up on eBay or other sources, or if I have a blower/hitch without it is it a lost cause?

If you download the instruction sheet for the kit, it states:

"This kit allows Landlord (K71) Series and

Broadmoor (K61/K46) Series snowthrower

attachments to be used on Prestige and Conquest

series tractors."

So based on this, I'm assuming you have a Prestige or Conquest. Most of us here are more familiar with the older tractors rather than the newer ones. I'm one of those so I can't help much. You may be able to buy the required parts piecemeal, but it would be expensive.

As to the kit showing up on eBay, etc, occasionally a dealer is cleaning out non moving inventory and you might get lucky. Calling around to older established dealer, you might find one collecting dust somewhere. Maybe your dealer would contact other dealers for you.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
