When Allis Meets a Deere...

Always one for an experiment, I found a new modern era Deere generator muffler to replace a homemade fire extinguisher muffler rebuild from a few years ago(comparable to a nelson soundwise).

And for a little movie trivia...

Saw this on the way home from work friday.

It's quieter than stock, comparable to the modern era Deere that it was designed for. I can hear the deck blades come up to speed now. Once I get the spark timing reset(its a little pingy) and found some rattles to tighten. Perhaps a good sign that those sounds are now audible. If I put it on the LL it would likely be super cool sounding since that chassis/engine is super smooth already.
