Time to mow again

Recommended Posts

Willy

Well it mowing time again,(every 4 or 5 days.

I'm holding my breath, hopping I can get it done

without something going wrong again.

Last Monday I started mowing with the 916 and an arbor

bearing blew and wrecked the arbor beyond repair.

I switch it with a 48" foot Dragger deck and a bearing

went out of that one, I finished with the old reliable

Big-10,and by the time I finished it had a noisy bearing.

I replaced the bearings in the 48" F.D. deck.

Now need an arbor for the 916 deck and a whole lot of bearings.

Quite sometime ago someone had a site for arbor bearing I

copped it down, but lost it when my computer went down. If anyone

has a source I would appreciate it.

Also would like to hear from anyone with a spare arbor.

Thanks Willy

Looks like we covered the same place Ray, always there with help Ray that is what I like about the club. Wealth of knowledge and assistance. You sold me a parking brake lever for my AC 916H since then I had to repower it with a HF 22hp working great after a friend machined a adapter for the drive shaft. Have a safe and wonderful 4th

If you go with a generic(which I do often enough) prior to installation check the grease. Sometimes the generics don't have much or it is inferior grease, which is easy enough to remedy when it is out.
