allicatguy 0 Posted July 8, 2015 About a year ago I searched the forums with no results and then posted asking if anyone had ever mounted a NorthStar broadcast sprayer on their B-series tractor. There was no response so I figured it hadn't been done before. I proceeded to build one using a sleeve hitch as part of the platform. Hopefully the attached photos will adequately explain the concept. Used the sprayer for the first time this past weekend. Unit worked very well and was stable on the slopes. SmilinSam 4,031 Posted July 8, 2015 I agree, its a lot handier on the back of a tractor like that. Heres the setup I made years ago. I think Les has it now. http://www.simpletractors.com/do_it/sprayer.htm

colincox1 61 Posted July 9, 2015 I got me a winter project. Thanks everyone. So much better than towing one around too. Just a quick question. If you don't finish all of the mixture up of Glysphate / roundup is it OK just to leave it in the sprayer

tadams 989 Posted July 17, 2015 I have trouble with my backpack sprayer when I leave it in, the spray nozzzle handle gums up and has to be torn apart and washed out. I wouldn't leave it in, you need to wash out the spray handle. Tom
