bowhunt4life
Here are some pics of some of the Allis and Simplicity stuff and a Mott Flail mower. Great show and weather cooperated and they had close to 600 garden tractor at the show. Many of the tractors are members of the club.

MikeES
Thanks Chris for posting the pictures, and great to meet you in person. The Turbo Diesel 716 belongs to ac-b12. He is a fine craftsman with attention to detail, the tractor runs great too!
fishnwiz
Can't believe I screwed up the date of this event on my calendar...I always enjoyed this show. Thanks for showing me what I missed.

ac-b12
Brett and his crew outdid themselves again, had a great time! I'll try to get some details on the 716 turbo soon, need to make some changes to the decals first.

It's about 5.5hrs for me, but I plan to add it to my calendar for 2016.Is there anything the club could, or already does do, in coordination for the event? We had a neat thing going at the LaPorte show, and it would be awful neat if the Simplicity/Allis crowd could form ranks with all the other brands there to watch C|:This would be a minimum 2-day'er for me, so I'd be game for a meet n greet on Friday or somethin. bowhunt4life
Well my house is 8 miles from the fairgrounds and I can point folks in the right direction for a good waterhole or stopping out at my place or just a cookout on the fair grounds. You can camp onsite or there are a couple hotels in Portage. I know some of the guys just pitch a tent next to the tractors and others sleep in their trucks and some bring motorhomes. Lot's of options. If we can get a accurate headcount we of tractors we may be able to get an building and put all the tractors inside but we would need a large amount. This year it seemed guys hung out Friday thru Saturday night and many then pulled out Saturday night. Wasn't much left on Sunday.
Talntedmrgreen
Sounds like a lot of options. Ive wanted to make it to a WI event, but Bobs gig is tough to make because its 2hrs of garaunteed white knuckle driving through Lake Michigan snowdrifts, before I even get as far as Chicago! This would be a neat event...would plan on being there by 10am or so Friday and pulling out by 5pm sat or early sunday morning.
