The Price is Right?

Recommended Posts

Willy

I just did a little checking for Arbor housings:

What I found was Snapper Murray and Simplicity

all use the same arbor housing.

Every thing is the same except the price. All three use

Part # 1713338 A S M Bottom half 1655729 A S M.

----------Bottom--Top

Simplicity--$25.--10.29

Snapper---$17.----8.88

Murray----$12.97--8.97

It pays to check things out.

At Jacks they are basically the same price through all brands, except the Murray bottom half is 15 cents cheaper.

The spindle shafts are listed as a Murray part as well. Same side by side. Industries often cross source parts that they don't want to tool on thier own(or are to cumbersome to do so).
