Legacy trivia - Wheels/tires

Just how many years did they make the Legacy with the smaller front and rear wheels and tires?

I have seen a couple of them now with 20hp kohlers and 48" decks that look to have 16" front tires and 23" rear tires.

I think it was always "standard" with 48" package tractors. Most were 20hp but that isnt set in stone. Ive seen diesels with the 48" and smaller rear tires. The 48" rubs the 26" tires....not bad, but it does.

I cant say Ive seen or noticed smaller front wheels/tires except on XLs with 4x4 vs 2x4.

I've seen bigger than 20hp with the 48's and still they had 26" rears. Only ones with the smaller rears have been 20hp tractors I have personally seen.

Don't know exactly what size the fronts are that are narrower than normal..
