Deck Swap

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have a Simplicity Broadmoor 727 that I bought without a deck. From what I can find online it was made for a 36 inch deck. I'm able to get my hands on a 32 inch deck. Would this work?

As far as I know, that should work. I have a 727 and it has a 36" deck, but I know the 32" was either an option, or should fit from another small-frame tractor.

Welcome to the club, Dan.

You simply need to watch out that the deck you purchase is designed for your tractor, which is the "old" Broadmoor design.

The 32" and 36"decks for this type of tractor have the discharge

chute on the left hand side (when you are sitting on the tractor).

Starting in about 1976, the "new" Broadmoor series of tractors

came out, with mower decks that had the discharge chute on the

right hand side. These tractors were completely different, and

their right-discharge decks will NOT work on your old Broadmoor.

So just make sure you get the right type of mower deck ... it is

easy to tell the difference just by the position of the discharge.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
