BAP
Does anybody have a good reasonably priced source for replacement seats? I have a 716H Allis that needs a new seat. I would prefer to find something close to original and not cost an arm and leg.
PatRarick
Try a surplus, or bargain store. There is a surplus store in my area that sells the low back seats for $25-$35, and the high back seats for $40-$50. That's about as reasonable as you are going to find for a NEW seat. Kent
There's always Northern Tool, also. Here's what a search for "tractor seat" turned up there[A href='http://www.northerntool.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ExecMacro/NTE_SEARCH.d2w/report?KEYWORDS=tractor+seat&PHOTOS=on']http://www.northerntool.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ExecMacro/NTE_SEARCH.d2w/report?KEYWORDS=tractor+seat&PHOTOS=on[/a]
Brent_Baumer
Padgett's Small Engine Warehouse(one of our sponsors) sells 'em. They are NOT like the original but will fit. I don't know where you're from but if you actually go there you can get replacement cushions for $8-$10 depending on who you deal with. No guarantee they will have any in stock either when you go. Scroll down the page on the link below for a few they will ship. Most they won't ship though cause you really need to examine the cushions in person for fit. SmilinSam
My surplus place here is out of Simpliicty seats. The factory that makes the seats for Simplicity is right here in our area and my surplus shop recieved 2 truckloads a couple of years ago that were supposed to be defective(couldn't prove it by me though). I was buying them there till they ran out a month ago. Guess I have to go shopping now too. Sam
PatRarick
I'd check Sandy Lake Implement, one of the sponsors of this site. Good people..
