plow control rod

I have made a couple of them with a simple piece of flat stock folded into a U and welded onto the rod stock. Leave the rod stock long and make the shape of it to match once the plow is mounted in center position on the ground. As long as it has enough clearance to allow the full left turn(extension) motion it is fine. I like adding a shallow bow to it to make it slide a little neater as well. The length will vary depending on the style of holding bracket you mount to the body.

If I still had one I would measure it but that sold last year so I don't have one.

I made one for my blade, but don't have any pics. I will see if I can get a couple and post them. Being a tool and die maker, I had access to a milling machine so I machined one out of square steel.SteveHere are the pics of mine:

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
