taking my tractor out getting ready for winter. i forgot if i check the trans fluid running or not. i remember how to check just not if running or off. and what fluid it uses maybe this should be in senior moments i don't remember thanks

is HyTran the same as Simplicity multi purpose can i use HyTran instead

Dextron, Type F, are useable. I don't know what Hytran is.

I personally use Dextron VI in all of my hydrostatic transmissions.

Well cub cadets use hytran in there tractors with Sundstrand hydros. The cub guys say that is all that works right. Now we know that pretty much all the Simplicity recommended fluids work well. I personally do use hytran,because there is a Case Ih dealer in town. Just my opinion take it for what it's worth.
