LBS 1 Posted February 6, 2002 Went out the other nite to plow some heavy/went snow & my Homelite keep dying out. It would start right back up and die again. I'm quite sure it was carb icing up cause I could see crystals on the outside of the venturi near the block. It was 30ish and damp, so it makes sense. I put a tin plate over carb to try & capture some exhaust heat to no avail. Anyone come up with a good homemade remedy. P.S. stuffed some fiberglass insulation around body of carb & it helped, but sure looked tacky! Thanks: Gary Hamilton North of Boston, MA Go Pats!
