mine has a nylon 3/8 rope was like that when i got it several years ago didnt know it was suppossed to be a cable didn t look close but it needs to make one wrap around the shute

Bought new window motor today. Ya'll think a long v-belt would work in place of cable or would cable be better?

use the real limp aircraft type cable so it will wrap around better!
