Front wheel cap

Ok, How do you guys get the caps off of the hubs on the older B and 7000 series.

I know on a car we just used a hammer and they came loose. On these tractors you can hardly hit them with a hammer. I have gotten some of them off but right now I have one that is very stubborn.

i use a big pair of channel locks and rock it back and forth

I have a pry bar about 18" long with a wide flat end at a 45* angle...I get it under the lip on the cap and give it a bit of a tap tap and then do the same on the opposite side.

if it is really stuck pry bar with a good sharp edge is best.alittle at a time and it will pop right off.
