hydro not lifting blower

This summer I put a used hydro lift on my 2210 and really like it. It has been working good with the mower deck.

Last week I put the snow blower on and went to lift it and it won't pick it off the ground, I don't have any counter weights on the rear and if I help it just a little it will pick it off the ground.

Any idea what to check?

It is full of oil and the belt is new and tight.

Is it just in need of a rebuild

Thanks

Gene

Had the same problem with my B112. I just made a home made counter weight. Just stuck a 1"tube in the back, and hung a wheel weight on it. Worked good. Since then, I made a much better looking set up.

Bruce that is what I was thinking I would have to do.

Josh I will look it over tomorrow or Tuesday night after work and make sure the belt is not slipping, it's a new belt and it is tight.

I was going to put the heat shield on the muffler and I don't have the right one. Does anyone have a picture of the heat shield for a 2210, 990496, or Briggs 243431 ?

Thank you guys

Gene
