Yamaha tractor curb find

Here I go again! A past client of mine that I did a tractor repair for several years ago called me with a phone message on a tractor on the side of he road for free. I hooked up my trailer and high tailed over to get the freebie. When I pulled up owner came out and asked me to PLEASE take the tractor out of his yard. Being the nice guy that I am I took the darn thing off of his hands for him. Tractor needs a weld on the steering knuckle but started right up and ran awesome. Owner told me that tractor "came with the house" and worked good until steering gave out.Glad I could help the guy out!;)Interesting engine and well built tractor.

Holy cow! I and many other members definatly live in the wrong area!

Good for you. A hydro, with shaft drive = a real plus.

Yes...horizontal shaft drive engine.

Not very familiar at all with these engines. It seems from what I can tell, most people love these units but parts can be hard to come by.

Definitely an over engineered tractor.

Guess I won't be dropping this engine into any Simplicity tractors anytime soon.

How do you sleep at night?

QUITE WELL??

Yeah, me too!

My Deutz-Allis was free for hauling away, too! Clean-up at our Church Camp. Sold the Trailer & blower, gave that money back to the camp.
