At least its the right color...Jacobsen 53500 Haul

I picked up a load of Jacobsen 53500's this weekend. Been working on getting them since early October and finally got the $$$ together and went to pick them up. Didn't realize JUST how big they were! Had to recruit Tim Flury with his diesel and his dad's trailer to get them.2 of them are in rather decent shape, turn, move just aren't currently running. HAve some wiring issues and obviously a tune up would be swell. Hope to have 1 running in a week or so. The all orange one is rather rough sadly, mostly for parts as it rusted up pretty bad, probably sat in a lower area that was swampy. Plow hitch and cylinder were rusted away but I have 3 more plow hit assemblys and the plow itself might be savable. Engine turns over so that is still a plus at least.Overall 2 good tractors (One with PTO), 1 parts tractor, 2 spare rear wheels (Look NOS), Junk mower deck (Scrap), Plow, 3 sets of plow hitches, 3 point CAT-0 Tiller, Snowblower, Rear weight box full of cast JMC weights, a NOS dash piece (All tend to crack), 2 sets of double stack wheel weights, and a NOS Kohler 19.9hp engine.

What happened to getting out of tractors and into motorcycles? ? Several years back when I bought your 725 you insisted you were heading toward cycles.;)

Good looking herd u have there. I recently picked up a Ford 80, with original set of nice tires and chains seen right behind tractor pic. Seems to run good, need to put in new battery yet to fully test tractor. my aluminum grill shell is broke where it bolts to frame, I did re-drill 2 holes but will be looking for a replacement. I also need a battery cover and hardware. Which Ford/Jacobson tractor would be the same as my ford 80,at least for the grill shell? I do need an owners manuel for it if anyone could email me one, thanks in advance.

Guess I'm the only one who thinks they resemble a 620 or Powermax

More often than not, I see members taking an interest in a machine, only to back down saying, "That's too far from me." I have a Fastenal branch near me and I've seen some of the machines Mark has shipped through their service. Now if the machine in question happens to be JD green??? Well, the cost of pick up just increased dramatically, LOL:D:D
