cjmengineer 0 Posted November 19, 2015 I have 8 tractors ranging from 1 62 Simp.700, 2 64 Simp.725, 1 Simp. 7117H yr.? as I.D. nos. have all been removed, 1 64 A.C B10, 1 64 Wards Squire 9, 1 89 J.D. 725 and 1 53 Farmall Cub. I have experienced only minor difficulty correctly restoring and repainting each of the above listed tractors and many of their attachments. The 64 Wards Squire 9 has proven to be the most challenging. It now runs and functions beautifully. The non scalping and finished striping left by my Simps., A.C. or Wards' mowers everyone comments on and in my own opinion are unequalled by any other mowing deck I have ever owned. I would like to repaint my Squire 9 its original Goldish/ Bronze color, however, but have been unable to identify the paint's coding or who may still manufacture it. I would be sincerely appreciative if anyone could provide an answer to those two questions. cjmengineer
goatfarmer 817 Posted November 19, 2015 Take off a small piece, and have it color matched at a paint store.

dentwizz 6 Posted November 19, 2015 I actually need that color for my Nimrod Riviera camper resto coming up. It was also a Wards marketed product from 1964.
Mike_H 92 Posted November 19, 2015 Go here, http://www.vansicklepaint.com/tractor/customcolors/index.php#CustomColors Click on simplicity, and then scroll to bottom of page. The montgomery ward color is listed. Talentedmrgreen restored one, and it's nearly perfect. I've seen it in person, and the pictures don't do it justice.
