Will a 990538 sickle fit on a 3415h?

Nope. It will fit but will not function properly. You need the "planetary" drive type of sickle bar. It was designed to operate at the proper speed in conjunction with your cone clutch. They look like they have a unit similar to a B-Series Hi-Lo mechanism built into the drive assembly.

The only two MFR #'s that will work are :

990785 and 1690030

Did the bgb change from 3300s to 3400s to accomodate the cone clutch? Could a guy yank the cone clutch for a 3300 pto?
