New 7016H JunkYard Rescue

Recommended Posts

Simplicity7013H

Well, at my local GT junkyard, there has been a 7016H there since early May. I finally decided it had sat there and rotted long enough. The only parts that had been picked were the battery and the ammeter. The engine was taken out by the scrapper and he was attempting to sell it separately. However, it had not sold so I got the engine with the tractor. All I have had to do was re assemble it and go through the wiring. He just cut all of the wires and cables going to the engine so I had to patch up the wiring and throttle and choke cables. All in all... a good days buy for $150. It has a deck but we didnt have room to get it. Its still at the yard.

I have pictures of it in the junkyard but I can't get them to upload.

id="quote">make sure there are no spaces in the filename...example "junk yard.jpg", also make sure they fit all the guidelines, given here...this topic only covers uploads from a PC/tablet,laptop.http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=77991an other option would be to save the photos to a site such as "photobucket".My cell phone cannot email photos, so I have to use a data cable to move them to my laptop, and edit them there (rename, resize, rotate, etc). Then upload them.dOd

No, I've owned the blade and cab since I got my 7013 which was just about 3 years ago. The cab is a Wheel Horse cab but I got the front brackets from a 75th anniversary with the same style of cab. The back brackets are my own "home brew". Still $150 was a heck of a good deal and it has a beat up but still useable mower deck. Also, did they put the front PTO decal on the tractor even if it didn't have a front PTO? It has the decal so... I'll be paying the guy a visit to get the front PTO if it had it previously.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
