any one know what head gasket will work on a z or if the numbers superede mine needs a valve job was in on the briggs antique engines ipl but some of those numbers were hard to read would really to biuld the whole engine but idosnt use oil but the valves leak bad

Also is it a straight Z, ZZ, ZZP or something else?

mod z type-304073 ser.-31106 this is a very excellant engine in garden tractor of mine that pt. # number comes up not avaliable in any of the briggs werehouses
