dhoadley 1,747 Posted December 6, 2015 My 707 Broadmoor tank has been leaking. Whenever I finish, I shut off at the tank (Is that called a petcock?), but it is empty when I next use it. The carb stays try, so I guess its leaking at the tank. Pulled it yesterday to take a look. The tank is fantastic; no rust and solid. I took the petcock off and there's no gasket or rubber rings. I got a small o-ring fit over the stem. Anything else? Thanx, Dave
tadams 988 Posted December 6, 2015 That usually all that keep it from leaking around the stem. You tighten the nut to keep it from leaking around the stem. Make sure you use a thread sealer that is good for gasoline when you replace it into your gas tank. Tom
