ardisam 23 Posted December 24, 2015 My friend bought a Allis 716 with a tiller and a blower. The blower did not have a hitch for it, but I found now. I just got a belt for it and it is 1/2 X 66 inches. It seems to be too long for it and the place where the catalog number suppose to be, someone welded another pulley there and burned off the number. This is a white Allis blower, would anyone would know a catalog number for those blowers? So, I can get the correct belt for it.
Chris727 2,016 Posted December 24, 2015 Sounds like it could have been a 300 or 400 Series blower. If so you will have to use trial and error and I believe the housings were different, thus throwing off the location of the mounting hitch and belt lengths. The correct 42" blower for a 700 Series is MFR# 1690032 and uses the 66.1" belt.
Chris727 2,016 Posted December 24, 2015 I am almost sure you have a 300 or 400 Series blower if it has the AC decals on it. When the 700 Series was introduced they used Simplicity attachments with Simplicity numbers on them. At that time both the 700 Series and 7000 Series had white colored attachments.
