rich_kildow 269 Posted December 26, 2015 How straightforward is a power steering swap from a Sunstar into a Sovereign. I'm working on a full setup (soft and hardline hoses, column, cylinder, bracketet, column, and wheel) from a 20hp Sunstar in hopes to put it in my 7116 or 7122. I've looked at is but never realized the kit wasn't just Sunstar parts. It looks like a different cylinder and line setup, but I could be crazy.
Talntedmrgreen 1,980 Posted December 26, 2015 The only thing you will use from the sunstar is the cylinder, valve, wheel and cap. The Sovereign will use different lines, cylinder mount, valve bracket, dash plate, spindle steering arm, a longer choke cable, and a few hudro fittings. Burntime 1 Posted December 26, 2015 RayS makes the mounts. I do not think they are available thru simplicity anymore.
