Help with 48" deck bearing.

Hello;

Am rebuilding a 48" stock mower deck from a Sovereign 3416 H.

Book says bearing is 2106202sm. Can use assistance in locating this part and also the actual size of deck belt 2108450.

I think you just got one number mixed up. It's 2108202. Available all over.

Pretty common bearing. Same as a John Deere part # JD9296 which is a quality Koyo bearing made in Europe. Theirs runs around $8.21. Simplicity's bearing is around $6.25. You can get them on ebay cheaper from numerous sellers. Ray (Club President) has had good luck with some of the eBay bearings. I bought the Deere bearings for mine because I can get them through my work.

While we are at it, what is the best way to take it apart without tearing it up?

Simplicity P/N 108202 is a Torrington/Fafnir P/N P204RR6.

from my experience - call each with your quantity required (2 per spindle) The greater the quantity usually the lower the per unit cost!
