lampoulos 0 Posted January 3, 2016 I'm curious if any of the club members have ever found a good battery to fit a 2210 or like model tractor that's a direct factory replacement without having to use the ol' block of wood? I've never had any luck myself. Any information would be appreciated.

Talntedmrgreen 1,978 Posted January 3, 2016 When I want the 'right' battery, I buy the Exide 51R's from TSC when they send me a 15% off coupon. Makes em about $75,

lampoulos 0 Posted January 4, 2016 So the Exide 51R are physically sized correctly?
MikeES 458 Posted January 4, 2016 The 51R is the correct size. The 22NF is also the correct size and the 22NF has the end ridges for the RBT hold downs to clamp to. I get the 22NF at Fleet Farm for about $55.
Appalachian 0 Posted January 4, 2016 I can get year old 51Rs for $40 at a local junkyard, they're commonly used in Hondas.
