Deutz-Allis tiller help

I need help identifying a D-A tiller.

It came off a deutz allis 1920.

ID tag states DEUTZ-ALLIS

Milwaukee USA MADE in ITALY

Model# RT 40-2000

Serial# 1088

Catalog# 72118644

It came with a category 0 3 point hitch and a 2000rpm rear pto unit for tractor, but no wire harness. It is 40" wide.

I would like to get a manual and wire harness to operate it.I looked through various part sites and could only find a 38" tiller with 2 point hook up.

Any help would be appreciated, Bob.

Is this the tiller you have? I don't believe it has a Simplicity-offered equivalent, and this was sold for other Deutz subcompact tractors. It would be ideal for a Sunstar or Legacy tractor though. The 3 point tiller offered for these was a 48"...same as for the Powermax, I believe. The rear PTO should be mfg #1692509. Thanks for the info.

It looks similar but mine has the male PTO shaft to hook to tractor.

It also states 2000rpm under the slip clutch.

I'm sorry, I do not. The tiller pictured was at an auction, and is not mine. I was trying to verify what exactly you had. That's acensored1.gifof a tiller. The Massey/Cub/Deere guys with 2000rpm PTO's would go banana's for one.

The same one I have on my Allis 720.

Bought it new 20 years old from a local dealership. Still on the pallet when I found it. Wish it was a 48" but it's in such nice shape, I can't see getting rid of it for something 48" that's all beat up.
