Simplicity 6118 questions

Was 6118 ever available with hydrostatic transmission or just the 3 speed?

from what little i can see only the 3 speed but i might be wrong.

I think the 6200 series brought out the hydro. I have a T618 in my back yard and it has the cast iron 3 speed in it.

Don't know about any hydro, I had a 6216 with cast iron three speed and vari-drive. And, my Allis T816 is a three speed with Vari-shift, same thing as 6216.

I did check out tractor data and found no 18hp Hydrostatic in the 5 and 6 series tractors...just the vari drive Steve mentioned.

Should also mention, I had an Allis 810GT which was the same as the 6010 Simplicity, and it was a three speed cast iron also, no vari-drive. Guessing you are correct, no hydro in these series.
