Powermax hydro pump

Recommended Posts

So I've started working on a tractor I picked up this past summer, it's a mess but it runs and moves so I figured it's worth the effort. My question is the front hydro seal is leaking and I'm wondering if it can be replaced without removing the whole pump, to me it looks like it can but anyone verify that for me. Second do you pull off the front of the pump or do you leave it on. Last does anyone know the part number for the seal. Thanks guys

You can remove charge pump without removing whole hydro. Remove upper and lower cover plates, remove driveshaft, pop off driveshaft yoke from front off hydro, then remove keyway. Four bolts hold it on. Make a note before removal of position of letters on front of charge pump. Either "RH" or "LH" will be on top. This pump will work with right or left hand rotation. After removal just use calipers to measure seal, believe it is standard size.

Good Luck,

Just sent you a PM with some numbers and possible source. Google this part number and you will find a possible source. Two places are listed below. As rigger said those may be a standard size. May be found for much less.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
