help I.D. mystery part

I recently picked this up, but I do not know what it is. It seems to be Simplicity orange, and looks like it would fit the back of garden tractor - FDT or RBT. I have a weight bracket on the back of my Sovereign, so I have not tried to actually install it, but it looks like it would fit. Did some of the larger walking tractors use a similar hitch? I know they used a similar transaxle. It looks like it will pin in the lower holes of the hitch, and the notches would fit on the rear lift socket cross shaft.

Doesn't resemble anything I have seen off of 4 wheel tractors, so I'm guessing looking at 2 wheel tractor stuff would be a good possibility.

I'm interested too, since I have one also...And mine came with a couple other parts if they jog any memories. The last one I'm pretty sure is home made...

Hmm, I feel better that someone else has one so that mine isn't some homemade thing, but I wonder what it is. I don't know a lot about the walking tractors.

The tiller part was a good idea, and is similar. Tim

I dug through some walk-behind manuals and cannot locate that part. The second item in Dan's pictures does look like something I remember seeing in a walk-behind book.
